Our Process

How we handle fire damage restoration

1We board up and tarp the building

Firefighters often open a window or the roof to let the heat and smoke out. We tarp an open roof and board up broken windows, so the weather stays out while the rest of the work is planned.

2We give you a free estimate, room by room

This walk is the free estimate. We photograph the damage, take moisture readings where the hoses reached, and write the itemized scope from both.

3We pack out your belongings and remove debris

We pack your belongings out before the heavy work starts. Fire debris removal comes next: what burned and cannot stay leaves the building.

4We clean what the smoke reached

Smoke and soot cleanup, smoke odor removal and structure cleaning cover the rooms that burned and the rooms that smell of smoke. Soot travels with the air, so closets and back bedrooms are on the list too.

5We handle the rebuild, then bring your things back

When the cleaning is finished, we handle the rebuild. We clean and store your belongings while the work goes on, and we bring them back when it is done.

“We suffered a small fire in our house alittle over a week ago, Watchtower came to the house and talked to us about repair. The person that came out Michael Sullivan ( Sully) was not pressuring us and explained every step. What really sold me was that Sully kept in contact with us and didn't pressure us into signing an agreement. Josh was more than helpful and also made the ordeal bearable. Sully is truly an asset to the company. Since this a work in progress there will be more to follow at a later time”

We Work With All Insurance Companies

A fire claim often has three parts: the house, your belongings and the cost of living elsewhere while you cannot stay home. We list the first two room by room.

  • We bill your insurance directly when your coverage allows
  • We document the loss with photos and moisture readings
  • We work with your adjuster

Why us

Why owners call us for fire damage restoration

We answer 24/7, on site in under an hour

We answer the phone 24/7, and after a fire we're on site in under an hour. An open roof or a broken window gets boarded up and tarped before the next rain finds it.

IICRC certified technicians clean smoke and soot

Smoke and soot reach rooms the flames never did, and the hoses soak floors that never burned. Our IICRC certified technicians clean all of it, and one itemized scope lists it, water damage restoration included, so nothing is left for a second company.

We handle the rebuild too

Fire debris removal can leave a room stripped to its framing. We handle the rebuild too, so one company takes you to the finished room.

We work with all insurance companies

After a fire your insurance company may use terms like ACV, RCV and depreciation. We talk with them, share our photos and scope, and explain those terms to you in plain English. We can help with your insurance questions.

We clean and store your belongings

Soot and smoke odor settle into fabric, paper and wood, and things left inside keep taking them on. We pack your belongings out, clean them and store them until the house is ready.

FAQs

Questions owners ask about fire damage restoration

Plain answers about the work, the estimate and your insurance.

We only had a small kitchen fire. Is an estimate worth it?

Yes, and it is free and commits you to nothing. A pan fire can leave the kitchen standing and still send smoke through the house. The job may be smoke and soot cleanup and smoke odor removal and nothing more.

The fire was in our business, not our home. Do you handle that?

Yes. We work on homes and businesses, and a fire in a shop or an office gets the same walk-through, photos and itemized scope as a house fire. We take those jobs from Georgetown and Leander down to Kyle, Buda and San Marcos.

Can I go back inside to get my things?

Not before the fire department says it is safe to go in. After that, take what you need to get by and leave the rest where it sits, soot and all. We photograph those things before we pack them out.

Should I wait for my adjuster before you board up the house?

No, and many policies expect the owner to protect the building from more damage. Your insurance company decides what your policy covers. We take photos of each opening before we board it up, so your adjuster sees what the fire did.

Who talks with my insurance company, you or me?

Both of us, in different ways. The claim is yours to file, and coverage decisions belong to your insurance company. We talk with them, share our photos and itemized scope, and answer your questions along the way.
